My name is Edgar and I am 5 month old!

Oh boy, oh boy. Finally I had the time to continue telling my final outcome, yes it is a happy ending and you wont believe what happened. Where did I leave off? Oh yes, I was in the Camarillo Animal Shelter for a few days waiting for my new owner to adopt me.

The bruises and scrapes started to heal and my injured back leg was getting better. I was waiting for like 2 or 3 days, relaxing and trying to recall my name. Then one day a nice lady came by my kennel and looked at my injuries. She was very knowledgeable of my super hero stunt pig abilities and mentioned I was a proud young Hampshire pig.

Not minding my own business, busy eating and grunting around I over heard a conversation between the nice lady and the shelter veterinarian. She asked: "What will happen to the pig in the kennel?" Then the veterinarian responded: "He will be euthanized, he has a broken or dislocated leg."

Euthanized! I think that's a fancy word for voluntary bacon bits -- oink! I just started my stunts and everyone loved me back on the 33 freeway. My snout dropped to the floor and I thought to myself, I made it this far and I would not have been running around on the freeway if I would have a broken or dislocated leg. I feel great! Look at me, I even out ran the dog that was trying to bite me.

I was crushed to hear this and my short life flashed by me. Can't an innocent good hearted pig have a break in life with a side of apples? What about my dreams, my goals, and my career as a stunt pig? I wish I would be treated with respect and dignity and would have the possibility to prove I am healthy. I just need some time to heal and eat more food. I was so grateful that this nice lady was on my side and fought on my behalf. She spoke with the doctor and mentioned that I do not have a broken or dislocated leg, instead, maybe a bruise or sprain.

Wow, this lady really loves me! She's taking me home until I find my new owner.

I am saved! Uncle Rudy never told me pigs get lucky! I fell out of a truck, rescued by some nice folks, and a lady saves me from a death sentence! The person who saved me is Marty and she found a new home for me in Upper Ojai, on a nice 3 acre farm where I can be free, kick rocks, and eat until my retirement. I share the farm with my other friends and rescues like horses, donkeys, pot belly pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, turtles, and d-d-dogs -- maybe these won't chase me. I finally found a home that cares about me and my stunts. I wish every animal would be as lucky as I am. Hmmm now I can perform all the stunts I want or teach other pigs how to do stunts. I'm safe now and people love me just the way I am. I have time to think about what I want to do next.

I still cannot remember my name so my new home has decided to give me a new one. I picked Super Hero Stunt Pig but they named me "Edgar" and I am 5 months old!

Thank you for reading my story and don't forget to tie down your mattresses, ladders, and live stock, you just might lose something.

Sincerely, The greatest Super Hero Stunt Pig ever -- Edgar.

Thanks to all who helped in this lucky happening. Thanks to Marty, Donna, Michaela, the people on the 33 Freeway the Ventura Police Department and all the people that cared.
