Oatmeal Soap

amazon stars Based on 8 Reviews

Scent-free Oatmeal Soap. Fine powdered organic oatmeal (colloidal oatmeal) to gently exfoliate and protect your skin.

Why does oatmeal help with problematic skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and itching? Oatmeal contains compounds called avenacins, and these have natural anti-fungal properties, saponins, and vitamin E. In addition, oatmeal is made up of fiber and cellulose. These natural occurring components help coat the skin and soothe itching as well as gently cleanse the skin without irritation. Additional benefits of oatmeal include its ability to bring down inflamed skin, relieve irritable rashes and breakouts. It’s also anti-septic and anti-bacterial.

All of our soaps are moisturizing and made with natural and organic oils. Oatmeal in particularly is highly moisturizing due to its content of Olive Oil. Olive Oil is a natural humectant and attracts moisture to the skin. Almond oil plays a wonderful role in Oatmeal soap, it’s a very mild hypoallergenic oil that offers relief for acne breakouts. It also gently deep cleanses the skin without feeling dry.

Who can use this soap?
Anyone can use our Oatmeal Soap. It’s great for achieving smooth conditioned skin. This is a scent-free soap and enjoyable for the entire family. Those with sensitive skin should avoid scented soaps even those made with essential oils and essences. Allow the skin to heal first and then introduce natural scents. Essential oils, although natural, may cause further irritation to those with problematic skin.

What’s the best way to use this soap? It’s a whole body soap formulated for the face as well. Take the soap and exfoliate the skin directly, this will encourage new skin cells to replace the old ones and will deal directly with any local irritation and itchiness shortly thereafter offering comfort and relief.

It also helps soothe itching, which may be caused by poison ivy, insect bites, and rashes. Leaves the skin feeling oh so smooth, clean and conditioned.

I have very sensitive skin and been running out of options since most companies overtime change their formula and most of the time, new formula does not work . We found this by luck and gave it a try, it is unscented, does not cause any itchiness or any tightening of the skin when using it and helps greatly with dry skin. Price is up there but it does get the job done. We will buy it again.

Best soap I have ever used. Having fair skin and very sensitive to other soap. Since using this no more rashes or dry skin. Will not use any other soap.

Love this soap! I was searching everywhere for a chemical-free/additive-free soap that lathers, moisturizes and doesn't have a fragrance. Tried others, but they either didn't last very long for my hubby & me (barely 2 weeks), were too aromatic or dried out our skin. One was so slippery that it kept sliding off the soap dish no matter what we did. This is the perfect soap for us. I'm going to switch our sons over to it now.

Great soap. Moving to Opas soap has been a night and day difference from everything I'd used in the past. Wonderful moisturizing properties. I have some eczema, and it has been very calming and soothing. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Love it! I have been using the Oatmeal Soap for a couple months now. I like it very much. I have sensitive skin, with outbreaks of eczema on my hands. The soap hasn't cured the eczema (nothing does!) but it is soothing and smells nice and clean.

Feels good, smells good The subtle oatmeal scent smells so good! I don't feel like this bar soap dissolves quickly at all, but I don't use bar soap so I don't have a good reference. I have only been using the soap for a week or so, but it looks to me as if the bumps on the backside of my upper arms are calming down a little. I really recommend this. It's natural!
